TRAUMA-SENSITIVE YOGA

Trauma impacts psychological and physiological wellbeing and puts people at further risk of being re-traumatized.

Yoga has been identified as an excellent adjunct treatment for releasing trauma from the body and facilitating healing.

Working in partnership with you, Kimberly will design a Trauma-Informed yoga practice* specifically for you. She will work with you, at your own pace, in a safe and private studio environment. Kim adheres to the key principles of Trauma-Informed yoga to provide each person with Safety, Empowerment, Choice, and Consistency. You are in the driver’s seat at all times during your practice, you determine what is, and is not, appropriate for you.

Kimberly is a mature, compassionate and professional Trauma-Informed yoga teacher. She draws on her rich life-experience to provide space for you to feel safe, supported, and comfortable as you work in partnership on your healing and wellbeing.
